Naomi Jin
Head of School
Ms. Jin is dedicated to advancing excellence in education through collaborative engagement with teachers, students, and parents at GIS. She holds an International Educator Certification and has completed the School Management and Leadership program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. With over a decade of experience in the field of education, including six years in school leadership, Ms. Jin is committed to fostering a positive, innovative, and student-centered learning environment that equips learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for future success.
Jane Kim
Assistant Head of School
Ms. Kim enjoys connecting with students and parents, creating an open and supportive environment where everyone feels heard and valued. She sees her role as a bridge between teachers and families, working to ensure that every child receives the care and guidance they need to succeed. With a background in education from the University of Sydney and a teacher’s license from NSW, she brings 10 years of teaching experience and a passion for differentiated learning to her work. Now in her third year of leadership, she is committed to helping the GIS community grow together.
Cindy Kim
Academic Counselor/Head of Secondary
Ms. Cindy calls many places her home: London, California, and Istanbul. Her passion has always been in education, so she considers it a privilege to witness students grow in body and mind. She received her first masters degree in Development at Oxford University and is currently pursuing her second masters in Educational Leadership at San Diego. As a multipotentialite, she enjoys chatting about social affairs, sports, and movies, and works to promote the academic/social development of the GIS community.
